What Kind of Affiliate Products Are Best to Promote and Advertise?

The best affiliate products and services tend to be those that pay a high enough commission, have at least some recognition and pay recurring fees. Obviously, the product or service has to be good, so that the customers are happy with their purchase.

The size of the commission varies a lot, but a good commission is between 10% and 50% of the price of the product or service. So if the price of a product is, say, $100, you get 30% commission on one sale for $33. It’s also worth remembering not to start promoting very cheap products, because for example, for a product costing $5-10, the commission will be quite small.

Recurring affiliate programs for repeat monthly commissions

Recurring payments for a good product or service are often very lucrative in the long run. This means that a customer buys a product for a monthly fee of, say, $20 per month, and if the affiliate earns $8 from one sale, he will earn the same $8 every month if the customer who bought the product does not stop his monthly subscription. If the affiliate is able to sell the product to, say, 30 customers who don’t unsubscribe, he will earn 30 x $8 = $240 in fully passive income each month from repeat orders from those customers. This may not sound like much, but you get the idea.
